Akosombo Industrial Company Limited (AICL). Based in the land of gold, where fabrics are as rich as the colors of the land and filled with inspiration from every eye comes, ATL. We creatively express our trade through understanding cultural patterns and meanings.

Established in 1967, Akosombo Textiles Ltd. (now Akosombo Industrial Company Limited – AICL) began the modern textile industry in Ghana. With our
well-equipped factory in Akosombo, and our sales and administrative office in Accra, ATL has transitioned over the years, partnering with renowned international wax producers to expand and produce quality wax prints for you. ATL is currently the only company that prints RealWax in Ghana.

Our designs are created based on our belief that textiles reflect the culture and heritage of its people. The clothes that we wear are an integral part of our identity and personality. They reflect who we are, who we aspire to be, and convey a wide range of emotions, hopes, celebrations and respect. Most of our prints portray our cultural beliefs and values, incorporating adinkra symbols and motifs that can be used for different occasions. We also create special designs that represent unity and common purpose for organizations and institutions. New designs are created in our well-equipped studio in Accra.
