1. Sponsored / Guest Posts Publication

General Requirements

• Guest posts must be in English.
• The articles are always published on the ProdAfrica Business Directory Blog.
• The article has to be new, and has to be related in a natural way with aspects related to Africa. The text must be original and of high quality; low-quality, duplicate, or copied content is not allowed.
• The content must be relevant to ProdAfrica’s audience, i.e., related to business, tourism, investment, sustainability, or innovation in Africa.
• Final approval depends on editorial and SEO review. Submission does not guarantee publication. Articles must be primarily informational; purely promotional or advertorial content will not be accepted.
• For other topics, please contact us through the form.
• Articles must have a maximum of 700 words. From 701 words onwards, it is billed as 2 posts.
• Duration and permanence: Sponsored posts are designed to be permanent to ensure good long-term SEO ranking. However, ProdAfrica guarantees a minimum period of one year. After this period, ProdAfrica reserves the right to archive or delete posts to optimize SEO, perform technical updates, or for other reasons. Articles may be removed before the end of the period to comply with legal requirements, SEO efficiency standards, or if the destination website no longer meets our B2B quality and security standards.
• Articles containing offensive language, illegal content, discrimination, or any form of misinformation are not accepted.
• ⚠️NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. Articles on Forex, cryptocurrencies, sports betting, casinos, and similar topics may be considered; however, they are not always accepted and are subject to prior review and a special rate.
• However, articles related to racism, sex, etc., are not allowed.
• Up to 1 external link. (1 Dofollow links and 1 image without link). Links must be relevant and naturally integrated within the content.
• The link must be contextually integrated within the content and relevant to the topic. Links placed in isolation, author bios, or clearly promotional sections are not allowed.
• Exact-match commercial anchor texts are not allowed; only branded, generic, URL, or natural contextual anchors are accepted. Anchor Text Rules

• Not allowed:

• Overly commercial or keyword-stuffed anchor texts are strictly prohibited. Misleading anchors that do not match the destination content are not allowed.
• At least one image, royalty-free or with permission for use, must be included.
• Links are dofollow by default.
• No “sponsored” tag is added.
• ProdAfrica reserves the right to apply rel=”sponsored” or rel=”nofollow” when required to comply with search engine guidelines.
• Content created primarily for SEO or backlink purposes will not be accepted. Advertorial-style content must remain neutral, informative, and provide real value to readers.
• ProdAfrica reserves the right to modify anchor texts and link placement to comply with SEO guidelines.

1.1 . Pricing of Sponsored / Guest Posts **

• ** Regular prices are valid for one year, until December 31, 2026, or until further notice if the platform deems it necessary.
• *** Offers are temporary and once they end, prices will revert to the established rates.

Publication

• The article is published between 24 and 72 hours after review (excluding weekends).
• If social media publication is desired (immediate and then randomly several times), an additional fee per social network is required.

Sponsored posts are independent advertisements and do not represent or endorse the businesses or events listed in the ProdAfrica Business Directory. The directory remains a neutral platform for African companies, and the opinions expressed in sponsored content are solely those of the advertisers.

2. Banner Advertising

Available Banner Types

• Top banner: Located in the website header (728×390 px).
• Sidebar banner: In the website’s sidebar (300×250 px).
• In-content banner: Inserted in specific posts (600×200 px).

General Requirements

• Format: JPG, PNG, or GIF (without overly intrusive animations).
• The banner must have a professional design aligned with the website’s aesthetics.
• It must link to a relevant website and comply with Google Ads policies.

3. Advertising Popups

Conditions

• Popups with exclusive offers, promotions, or events relevant to ProdAfrica’s audience are allowed.
• Popups with automatic video or sound playback are not accepted.
• A non-intrusive design with a visible close option is recommended.

Frequency and Duration

• Maximum of one popup per user every 24 hours.
• A limit of 10 seconds before the user can close it is established.

4. Payment Methods and Invoicing

• Payment is accepted via PayPal.
• An invoice will be issued upon the advertiser’s request.
• Payments must be made in advance.
• Prices will be provided upon request.
• If any infringement is detected after the article or advertisement has been published, it will be removed from our platform and the amount already paid by the customer will not be refunded.

5. Disclaimer

• ProdAfrica Business Directory is not responsible for the content of sponsored posts, including statements, opinions, or incorrect information contained within them.
• ProdAfrica reserves the right not to publish an article without giving reasons for not doing so.
• The responsibility for the authenticity and accuracy of the content lies entirely with the advertiser or article author.
• The advertiser must ensure that the images used in sponsored posts have the appropriate usage rights. ProdAfrica Business Directory will not be responsible for the improper use of copyrighted material.
• Any disputes related to published content will be the sole responsibility of the advertiser, exempting ProdAfrica Business Directory from any legal claims.
• Prices are valid for 1 year, until December 31, 2026, or until further change if the platform deems it appropriate.
