Zambia Travel Expo (ZATEX), themed ‘Responsible Tourism: Peace and Tourism’, is a tourism exhibition designed to highlight Zambia’s tourism offerings and establish a networking hub for industry stakeholders. The aims of ZATEX include:
(a) Serving as a central meeting point for both regional and international hosted buyers and media from primary and upcoming markets.
(b) Providing a platform for both local and international media to extensively cover the event.
(c) Facilitating networking opportunities for tourism operators to connect and engage with international buyers.
(d) Encouraging business connections by hosting a business investment forum.
The intended participants of ZATEX are National Tourism Organizations, Corporate Companies, Embassies, hosted buyers, local and international media, and tourism industry professionals such as tour operators, accommodation providers, and travel agents.
