Boliba Savings and Credits - Maseru - Lesotho

Boliba Savings and Credit, established under The Cooperative Act No. 6 of 2000 (Reg. No. 1544), is the financial arm of Boliba Multi-Purpose Cooperative. Founded by former Lesotho Bank employees and local entrepreneurs, it aims to provide savings and credit services to its members. Operating since June 26, 2000, Boliba has over 80 professional staff and uses modern business practices. Its head office is at The Old Coop Lesotho, near Maseru, with branches at Metcash Building, Maputsoe (Leribe), and Mohale’s Hoek. Boliba serves members often excluded by traditional banks, including SMMEs, societies, and low-income earners in both public and private sectors. It offers ordinary savings, short- and long-term investments, business accounts, and personal/business loans. Mobile Money services will soon be launched for more flexible and affordable transactions.
