Ngamiland Council of Non-Governmental Organisation (NCONGO) - Maun - Botswana

The Ngamiland Council of Non-Governmental Organisations (NCONGO) is an umbrella organization based in Maun, Botswana, established in 2008. It represents an expanding membership of 50 NGOs and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) within the Ngamiland districts, including the Ngami and Okavango sub-districts356. Coordination and Advocacy: It coordinates the efforts of NGOs and CBOs, advocates for their needs, and facilitates communication and networking among non-state actors in the region..
Project Implementation: NCONGO implements various projects funded by external donors, such as the “Maun Demonstration Project Horticulture,” funded by UNDP/GEF through OKACOM, with a budget of BWP 1,600,000 over four years.
