Holding Equatorial Guinea is an entity established in 2014 with main objectives. Its function is to manage the co-investment fund or any other fund that the Equatorial Guinean State proposes to create. In addition, it was created to promote economic diversification and manage the assets entrusted to it by the Government.
This holding company operates in strategic sectors such as agriculture, livestock, fishing, petrochemicals, mining, tourism and transportation2. Its objective is to promote economic development and investment in Equatorial Guinea.
It has also met for the first time in the Board of Directors in the year 2023. Its structure is attached to the Presidency of the Republic and functionally to the Ministry of Finance and Budgets.
