Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC) is Ghana’s leading midstream gas company, responsible for developing and operating the infrastructure required for the gathering, processing, transportation, and marketing of natural gas resources both domestically and internationally.
Founded in July 2011, with commercial operations commencing in November 2014, GNGC produces lean gas, condensates, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and isopentanes, playing a critical role in driving the growth of Ghana’s industrial sector.
Operating under a business model that generates revenue through the processing, transportation, and sale of natural gas and its liquid derivatives, GNGC currently supplies gas to the Volta River Authority (VRA) for power generation, significantly contributing to the nation’s energy stability.
