One Africa Forums is a platform dedicated to fostering economic development, investment, and trade across Africa by organizing various high-level forums and summits. These events aim to connect decision-makers, investors, government officials, and industry leaders to explore opportunities and challenges within the continent.
Since 2004, One Africa Forums (formerly i-conferences) has been organizing economic forums exclusively dedicated to Africa’s development, with a particular focus on French-speaking African countries. These forums, with international scope, aim to foster South-South cooperation and enhance the continent’s economic integration. With a network comprising nearly 100,000 African leaders, our forums bring together stakeholders from both public and private sectors, highlighting best practices across the continent by amplifying the voices of African nations. Held at the invitation of governments sharing this vision, One Africa forums convene in person across multiple African cities (Abidjan, Cairo, Dakar, Tunis, Djibouti, Yaoundé, Tangier, Douala, Libreville, Kinshasa, Marrakech…) and are structured around key sectors critical to Africa’s development: agriculture, healthcare, digital transformation, payments and identification, banking, transportation infrastructure, port facilities, and postal services. In 2020, One Africa Forums introduced a platform for virtual debates, providing the continent with greater global engagement. Branded as Digital Africa Live, these web conferences serve as a dialogue platform inviting international stakeholders to actively contribute to shaping Africa’s future through dynamic and forward-thinking discussions.
