Profile
Sabi Sands Lodges Reservations proudly offers a free reservation service to all safari lodges in the Sabi Sands game reserve & Kruger National Park. Sabi Sands Game Reserve is Africa’s most sought place to experience a big five safari with accommodation options catering to all type of travelers. Private and exclusive, the game reserve is situated in the southwestern corner of the world-famous Kruger National Park and it covers an area of approximately 65 000 (sixty-five thousand) hectares which is about 650 square kilometers (almost the same size as Singapore). Sabi Sands game reserve is known for incredible wildlife sightings including Africa’s “Big Five” – Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino & Cape Buffalo.
The Sabi Sands game reserve dates back to 1898 which makes it the oldest private game reserve in South Africa. Throughout the years there were many changes made to the boundaries of Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sands game reserve. In 1993 the fences between Kruger park and the Sabi Sands game reserve were removed which allowed wildlife to move freely between Kruger park and the Sabi Sands. The game reserve offers amazing sightings of leopards and close encounters with Africa’s top predators including lion, cheetah, and Cape hunting wild dog.
Don’t just go on a Kruger National Park safari, experience the magic of the Sabi Sands game reserve and follow wildlife wherever they go. Unlike game drives in Kruger National Park, safari guides and rangers are permitted to drive off-road and follow the animals so you may get up close to Africa’s amazing wildlife.
