Texda’s products range from fabrics, shirts, pants, bags, and purses to home decor items like tablecloths, napkins, and bedcovers. They employ traditional hand-weaving techniques using local cotton and silk, which supports Ugandan farmers and promotes eco-friendly practices .
Additionally, Texda provides training and support to entrepreneurs in the textile sector, helping them improve their technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial skills. Over 1050 trainees have benefited from their programs, leading to increased sales, better employment opportunities, and the creation of more jobs in the community .
