Who we are / Info
The International Trade Council (ITC) stands as a premier chamber of commerce, committed to enhancing global trade, reducing trade barriers, and encouraging worldwide business growth through educational initiatives, expansive networking, and valuable market insights.
We staunchly advocate for the benefits of unrestricted global commerce and fair competition, believing they are key to fostering economic expansion, creating jobs, and improving living conditions across the globe.
For numerous years, our Council has been a vocal supporter of open markets, equitable international competition, and the easing of trade restrictions, all while adhering to clear, consistent, and jointly agreed-upon regulations.
Our aim is to ease the complexities of global trade for our members by streamlining procedures and offering crucial support tools. With chapters in 28 countries and members in 179 nations, our reach is undeniably global.
While most of our services are provided at no cost to eligible members, we rely on the modest contributions of corporate members and government trade and investment bodies to fund our operations.
Although individual membership does not incur a fee, we limit it to those in leadership roles actively engaged in international trade, foreign direct investment, or supportive activities due to limited resources.
