Company Description
TIM – Televisão Independente de Moçambique, has been present with this brand in the national market since 2007. However, its origin dates back to 2005 when it was integrated into Group 9. In 2007 there was a change in the company’s social pact and in May In the same year, Television was renamed TIM – Televisão Independente de Moçambique.
Since then TIM has been in constant growth. It changed premises, acquired new equipment, hired more human resources and expanded its coverage network to 5 more provinces in addition to Maputo. At the moment, TIM is covering the cities of Beira, Quelimane, Nampula, Pemba, Tete and Songo, seeking to serve the national market more and better and provide high quality services, respecting professional ethics and always aware of its responsibility social media as a communication vehicle that it is.
It was in this environment of permanent search for quality improvement that TIM changed its image to better communicate with its public and better convey what the company’s vision and objectives are.
Today, TIM is on the way to establishing itself as a national information channel. The first in free-to-air in Mozambique and already has most of its programming oriented in that direction. Newscasts, Debates, Interviews, Reports and Documentaries live events (political and social events, football matches in important European leagues) are the station’s strong dish, which still maintains some entertainment programs such as Novela, Cinema and Series.
