The Bukanga Lonzo Agribusiness Park – DR Congo

The Bukanga Lonzo Agribusiness Park, located 260 km southeast of Kinshasa, is a landmark project in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Positioned in one of Africa’s most fertile regions, the DRC boasts 80 million hectares of rich agricultural land and a rapidly growing economy, with Kinshasa itself offering a dynamic market of over 10 million people. Covering 75,000 hectares of arable land nourished by the Kwango and Lonzo rivers, the park represents a strategic public-private partnership aimed at modernizing and expanding agribusiness. It is the first of 23 planned parks designed to transform the country into a powerhouse of agricultural productivity and sustainable development across Central Africa.
