The Aeronautical Authority of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea (AAGE), created by Presidential Decree No. 26/2012, dated February 22, is an Autonomous Entity, which has the maximum organic, functional, patrimonial and financial autonomy in accordance with provided for in the General Civil Aviation Law and in State legislation, with its own legal personality and assets.
It is attached to the Ministry in charge of Civil Aviation, reporting directly and hierarchically to its owner, with the organization and powers that are included in the General Civil Aviation Law, and with the consideration, also of the Aeronautical Authority in matters of civil aviation, air transport and air safety
