Banjul International Airport, also known as Yundum International Airport, (IATA: BJL, ICAO: GBYD) is the main airport in Gambia, West Africa. It is located approximately 19 kilometers (12 miles) southwest of the capital city of Banjul. The airport has a single runway and serves as a hub for Gambia Bird and Gambia International Airlines. It offers flights to destinations in Europe, as well as other destinations in West Africa. The airport has undergone expansion and renovation in recent years to improve its facilities and increase capacity.
