Sakalava Lodge. In the middle of nowhere in the wilderness, located near a mangrove and an exceptionally beautiful lagoon, Gregory and his team welcome you. Not much to do with regular hotels, this one works on an “ECOLODGE” concept. Gregory the owner of the Sakalava Lodge, his passionate about windsurf, kitesurf, SUP. He spends as much time as he can on the water and built a lodge, where clients often becomes friends.
Authenticity, sharing, respect for the environment … lovers of “Roots chic” will be conquered.
Here you’ll find windsurfers and kite surfers looking for something than the cold aseptic traditional hotels. Large commun tables in the evening, good music at the bar, laughter, discussions multilingual around the pool table, … sharing, meetings and hopefully happiness.
We are a family structure, if your vision of holidays is to kite during the day, go out disco at night and come back in the morning accompanied by young local women, you are not at the right place.
Our team is unique and we are very proud of it. Arlin, Maman fab, Remi, Felix, Flavien …. they all help to make the lodge a different place where our guests often become friends. If you are looking for the tranquility of a traditional hotel where everyone eats his or her side, or the staff stays quietly in their place, you will not be happy at the Lodge. On the other hand if you are looking for sharing, human warmth, exchanges, …. then the Sakalava Lodge is for you.
