Who we are / Info
Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of Uganda’s most renowned safari destinations, known for its rich variety of ecosystems, including savanna, forests, lakes and wetlands. This diversity supports classic big game, ten primate species such as chimpanzees, and over 600 bird species.
Set against the Rwenzori Mountains, the park features dramatic volcanic craters, the wildlife-rich Kazinga Channel, and the vast Ishasha plains, famous for their tree-climbing lions. In addition to its natural attractions, the park offers meaningful cultural experiences with local communities, while conservation efforts continue to benefit both wildlife and surrounding populations.
