The European Union Delegation in Zimbabwe represents the EU, keeping Brussels informed about local developments and coordinating with EU Member States, particularly the one holding the EU Presidency. It also collaborates with non-EU countries and international organizations. A key role of the Delegation is to oversee the effective delivery of EU development aid to Zimbabwe, primarily funded through the European Development Fund (EDF) under the Cotonou Agreement, which supports countries in Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific.
