The Muni Estuary Natural Reserve is located in southern Equatorial Guinea in the estuary formed by the Ríos Muni, Río Congüe and Río Mandyani. It is characterized by being an area of peat meadows, as well as estuaries and mountains. In it we find an important secondary forest as well as mangroves located at the confluences and mouths of the rivers. As for the fauna we can find elephants, baboons, manatees, as well as a significant number of birds.
