Who we are / Info
The Namibia Development Corporation (NDC) was established under the Namibia Development Corporation Act, Act 18 of 1993. The Government of the Republic of Namibia holds 100% of the shares in the NDC, but the Corporation is governed by an autonomous Board of Directors consisting of twelve members: seven elected from the private sector and five representing the Government.
The mission of the NDC is to promote, develop, and support economic growth and development in Namibia. Guided by the vision of creating wealth to enable the Namibian nation to prosper, the Corporation operates according to core values that emphasize service excellence, teamwork, integrity, innovation, and results-driven performance. These principles collectively shape the NDC’s approach to fostering sustainable economic development and empowering both private and public sector initiatives across the country.
