The Federation of Unions of Cooperative Societies of Cotton Producers, FPC, in Côte d’Ivoire, abbreviated as FPC-CI, was created at its general meeting on December 14, 2013 in Korhogo, replacing AFFICOT-CI (Association des Faîtières de la Filière Coton de Côte d’Ivoire) following the entry into force of the OHADA Uniform Act of December 15, 2010 relating to the law of cooperative societies. It was registered in the register of cooperative societies of the Court of First Instance of Korhogo under the number CI-KGO-2014-G-037 of June 23, 2014, with a share capital of 11,000,000 FCFA.
Representing, defending, protecting and managing the interests of its members with third parties and particularly with public and private bodies;
Support for the provision of services that meet the promotion, consolidation, revitalization and professionalization needs of its members;
Support for carrying out economic activities likely to generate profitable margins for its members and for mobilizing any means allowing them to achieve the objectives they have set themselves.
